Own a distinctive piece of early 2000s PC modding history. This vintage Sunbeam clear acrylic computer case transforms an ordinary PC into a fully visible display build, revealing the motherboard, graphics card, drives, cooling fans, lighting, and cable work from nearly every angle.

Sunbeam introduced its original transparent acrylic ATX case during the early 2000s, when PC builders were replacing beige towers with windowed cases, cold cathode lighting, UV reactive cables, illuminated fans, and custom water cooling. Period reviews were already covering Sunbeam’s acrylic tower by 2003, and the company offered clear, red tinted, and blue tinted versions.

Unlike a conventional steel chassis with a small side window, the Sunbeam case used thick acrylic panels throughout its construction. The panels were secured with metal hardware and embedded brass anchors, creating a distinctive frameless appearance. These cases were normally shipped as flat acrylic panels that owners assembled themselves, making the chassis part computer case and part hands on PC modding project.

This assembled clear ATX mid tower is well suited for a vintage gaming PC, retro computer restoration, Y2K display build, LAN party recreation, or modern hardware showcase. Three tested and working 80mm AC Ryan UV Green LED fans with orange blades are included, giving the case an authentic early 2000s appearance.
