<p style="text-align: center;">Ricardo Gomes hails from <a href="http://www.coldzero.eu/">ColdZero</a> in Portugal. &#8220;Snow White&#8221; was one of his latest client builds and took six months to complete. He proves it&#8217;s still possible to create and reinvent modification on the popular Silverstone TJ07 chassis. <span id="more-5120"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Please tell us about the modifications you made.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Of the original case, very little remained. I created a new complete Motherboard tray and back plate, a mid plate cover to prevent hot air from the radiators in the bottom compartment to mix with the upper components. A top grill as well as new side panel grills with honeycomb design and dust filters to improve airflow and radiator performance. A Front Panel to cover the whole seven 5.25&#8243; bays with just a slot for a slot-in dvd-rw, again, in a very minimalist style. The 5.25&#8243; were also milled to be fitted with the hot-swap system, which was entirely built from scratch. To cover the inside of those bays preventing the hot-swap, dvd-rw and fan controllers to be seen and even to hold two 50mm EK Reservoirs and the two Aqueros 4.00, a back cover was made, creating a solid looking block on the 5.25&#8243; bay area. I also did custom made white back plates with blue logo for the vga cards, to remain faithful to the color and Hex shaped theme.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve8.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Snow White&#8217;s system has two individual loops with a 480 and 240 size radiators mounted in the floor of the TJ07.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve9c.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">XFX HD 5850 has a laser cut acrylic backing plate by <a href="http://www.coldzero.eu/">ColdZero</a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Where do you draw your inspiration from Ricardo? Does your job/other hobby/schooling give you any skills that you apply to modding?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The idea was to use as little of the original case as possible, giving it a little more &#8220;depth&#8221; to the mod, Also the desire to innovate played a big role in it. I remember thinking how i wanted to go beyond what everyone had done, and since there were are a lot of mods done on this case, it wasn&#8217;t going to be easy. I had seen a few full white cases at that time, but thought that there was always room for one more if it was done properly/differently enough to create it&#8217;s own &#8220;identity&#8221; Some of the parts on this case were based on some of my previous mods while the rest was brand new. All the parts were done with the general ideas in mind, functionality and case improvement/optimization, to do more with the same space. This case was done in very simple/straight lines and I strive for symmetry whenever I can. I think that has a lot to do with my own personality, I&#8217;m a very practical person, so I guess I could say, that when I&#8217;m modding, a part of me leaks into the project at hand. As a Modder, I think that I&#8217;m not alone in this regard. I was a mold designer for 6 years before I began modding computer cases, so CAD software is kinda my second skin. Being used to imagine how a whole mold would work, in my head, also gives me the capacity to make slight tweaks &#8220;on the fly&#8221; while I&#8217;m drawing new parts.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve1.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>What were personal highlights of the build progress for you?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Custom made/sleeved cables without heat-shrink, which I had never seen done before (and I even came up with the idea before bit-fenix came up with their cheap solution) so that would be another innovating point. The paint job, which I don&#8217;t usually do, but I really liked this one, and obviously the custom made hot-swap system.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve9d.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">SATA and Power Connections mounted in back wall of custom Hot-Swap bay.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve9f.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Custom made Hot-Swap HD bay.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve9e.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The custom Hot-Swap bay enclosure provides mounting for the two reservoirs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve2.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">View into the interior of the TJ07 from the overhead Honeycomb ventilation grill in the top.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve3.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Beneath EK&#8217;s Supreme Cu HF Nickel waterblock is a Xeon i7 X3520 D0 processor installed in Gigabyte X58-UD7 motherboard.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve9b.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Ricardo fabricated a custom enclosure with individual removable trays for the 3.5 Hard drives.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>How do you feel about overall results of your build?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I see the mods I do as challenges, so the bigger the challenge the better it makes me feel, specially in this case, since I wanted to go beyond and above and actually did it. It was the first time for some of this project features, and despite the work it took to do them, I really enjoyed the overall end result.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve9a.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The front of the TJ07 was customized with minimalistic look. Slime line optical drive is DVD-RW.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/silverstone_tj07_tj10_case_mod_window_watercool_psu_color_sleeve6.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The TJ07&#8242;s motherboard orientation was flipped upside down. All of the custom rear mounting plates were laser cut.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>And finally, what were the biggest challenges you encountered during the build?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Because this case can be fully disassembled, a lot of the parts on the case were simple replacements, meaning that no physical modifications to the case were necessary, and so i had a lot of work cut out for me. I would have to say the real challenge was designing the custom parts, like the hot-swap system. I had done it before a few times, but was never fully satisfied with the result. I wanted something that would look very &#8220;out-of-the-box&#8221; or almost factory made.<br />
My main limiting factor, is how to produce something. Sometimes I wish I had more machinery, so that my creations could match my imagination. I&#8217;m a very perfectionist person, and I prefer to use a machine to do something perfectly than to do something by hand that I know will never be perfectly perfect. All of these parts were only possible because I now have a laser cutting machine, but despite that, if I had a CNC as well (yes its on my wishlist ), this case would have become even better. The things I did and the way I did them, probably weren&#8217;t always the most simple, cheapest, fastest way of doing them, but they were the solutions I came up with at the time. I probably wouldn&#8217;t do all of them the same way today. My process of creation is a two step system. First is to create a working system in my head, then I fire up Autocad and make a rough sketch. On some more demanding systems, like an 8 HDD hot-swap system, for example, I make a prototype version for one hdd and see how that works, and make the necessary adjustments, if needed. Some, if not all projects always have a the not so well/good department. In this case, the Paint job was a real nightmare. The first powder coating attempt didn&#8217;t well at all (the resulting bad powder coated case is now being used on another of my own projects) and I had to replace the case with a brand new one, so I had to do all the &#8220;hard&#8221; mods to the case again (wire management here and there, side panel cut, 5.25&#8243; bays cuts, etc)</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Brian Carter (aka Boddaker) started out this project for <a href="http://raptr.com/">Raptr</a> as a simple idea around a ‘military-themed’ PC that evolved into a gaming rig featuring a mini gun and a beverage cooler! <p style="text-align: center;">The heart of the Battlefield 3 system is AMD&#8217;s FX 8150 processor that is cooled by Corsair&#8217;s H80. ATI&#8217;s Radeon HD 6970 graphics cards, 60GB solid state drive and 1TB SATA III hard drive. <a href="http://www.originpc.com/">Origin PC</a> supplied all of the hardware.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/coolermaster_cm_storm_trooper_case_mod_military_gaming_pc_window_raptr8.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Brian implemented a First-aid kit into the side with a USB-powered beverage cooler!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/coolermaster_cm_storm_trooper_case_mod_military_gaming_pc_window_raptr2.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Mural on side panel was airbrushed by <a href="http://www.stevenunez.com/">Steve Nunez</a> with Raptr&#8217;s dino incorporated into Battlefield-inspired theme.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/coolermaster_cm_storm_trooper_case_mod_military_gaming_pc_window_raptr6.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The Minigun and Main Power is activated by the Military Toggle switches from <a href="http://www.mnpctech.com/spdprtToggle.html">Mnpctech.com</a> and installed on Brian&#8217;s custom mounting plate.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/coolermaster_cm_storm_trooper_case_mod_military_gaming_pc_window_raptr9b.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The external roll cage was fabricated from 1/2″ acrylic rod. Brian created curved templates from blocks of wood. He bended the acrylic with a heat gun. The individual pieces were glued together and mounted on the case with stand-offs. The drive is LG Blu-ray and Lamptron fan controller was modified with new face plates.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">When Brian isn&#8217;t building one-of-a-kind PCs, hes a video/audio producer by day.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">This amazing PC was won by Raptr&#8217;s Network user, &#8220;Psych091&#8243;, as part of Raptr’s Battlefield vs. Call of Duty Showdown promo that invited gamers to discuss the merits of the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises. <p style="text-align: center;"> <strong>Introduction:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Following on the heels of cases such as the Colossus and Survivor chassis much is expected from this case in terms of quality and features.<br />
Offering Full USB3 support and integrated fan control is a good start.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Specifications:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Materials Steel, Plastic<br />
Color (Int/Ext) Black/Black<br />
Dimensions (H xW xD) 210 x 500 x 493mm (ATX Mid Tower)<br />
Motherboard Sizes Mini-ITX, mATX, ATX<br />
5.25&#8243; Drive Bays x4<br />
3.5&#8243; Drive Bays x6<br />
2.5&#8243; Drive Bays x7<br />
Cooling Front 2 x 120mm (included) or 1 x 200mm (optional)<br />
Cooling Rear 1 x 120mm (included)<br />
Cooling Top 1 x 200mm (optional)<br />
Cooling Bottom 1 x 120mm (optional)<br />
PCI Slots 7<br />
I/O 4 x USB3.0, HD Audio<br />
Power Supply PS2 ATX (bottom, multi direction)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Exterior:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Starting with a look around the sides it&#8217;s clear to see that Function is in the driving seat rather than Form as both sides are plain and devoid of any fan mounting.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Indentations have been made in the doors to allow purchase when removing the sides. Granted it is a little consideration to make but has been lacking with some recent cases from other brands.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="side left" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_Left_side.jpg" alt="" width="619" height="619" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="side right" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_right_side.jpg" alt="" width="619" height="619" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The front and top receive the Bitfenix SofTouch treatment that gives them a soft rubber surface texture. Whilst reading through my preparation material before opening up the case I really did groan about this, rubber feel is something for TV remote controls, but I have to say I quite like it, it&#8217;s not too rubbery it&#8217;s rather nice and tactile. The majority of the construction of the front and top is a perforated sheet that, coupled with the ribbing beneath it, is surprisingly strong whilst having enough flex to not be brittle under impact and adds a striking matte black look.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Fine mesh prevails as the key styling on the top and front being both attractive and functional lending its self to superior air flow, the front is also filtered with a medium density soft foam</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="bezel" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_logo.jpg" alt="" width="679" height="662" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The IO is located conveniently on the top of the case with 4 very handy USB3 ports along with the standard audio ports, power and reset. A sliding fan controller is also added in to the mix, however this does lead to an extraordinary amount of cables coming from the IO and entering the case. There is a slight issue with the front bezel fitting partially inside the top cover at the front. This means when removing the front cover you must also remove the top cover from the case, dragging all the attached cables as you do so.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="io close up" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_top_io_panel.jpg" alt="" width="550" height="227" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="Top bezel" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_top_bezel.jpg" alt="" width="337" height="684" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="top bezel inside" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_top_bezel_inside.jpg" alt="" width="409" height="592" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The case is optimized for Air cooling as evidenced once you remove the bezel fully with both the top and front supporting a single 200mm fan each with the front being able to be configured for a pair of 120mm fans.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="front chassis" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_front_chassis.jpg" alt="" width="374" height="600" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The rear is a pretty standard affair, with 7 slots and space for a single 120mm fan and, of course, bottom mounted PSU.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="chassis rear" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_rear.jpg" alt="" width="375" height="595" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The bottom has intakes for the PSU and an optional 120mm fan can be placed here too. I really like that Bitfenix have made the filters to the optional fan and the PSU air intake separate. They are a little loose on our sample so this could be something to think about if you are planning on transporting the case for LAN parties.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="chassis bottom" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_bottom_chassis.jpg" alt="" width="345" height="600" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="chassis bottom inside" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_psu_isolator.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="457" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Interior:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">All the major bases are covered here with regards to motherboard sizes (mini ITX, mATX, ATX). There are plenty of rubber-grommeted cable routing holes around the motherboard tray well-placed for a typical ATX installation.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="mb tray left side" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_interior_left_side.jpg" alt="" width="619" height="619" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="mb tray right side" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_motherboard_tray_right_side.jpg" alt="" width="619" height="619" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">There is support for plenty of HDD and of SSD with up to 7 Storage devices, with the ability to remove the left rail of the upper HDD cage to allow for longer graphics cards.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter" title="hdd cage" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_hdd_cages_partition.jpg" alt="" width="589" height="391" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The HDD trays are made from flexible plastic and vibration dampening is included. These fit both 3.5 and 2.5 inch drives.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="hdd trays" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_hdd_trays.jpg" alt="" width="689" height="409" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Along with the tool-less HDD cages the optical bays are also tool-less with a lever mechanism for fast release and replacement.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="tool less bays" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_hdd_cages_optical_cages.jpg" alt="" width="442" height="684" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" title="optical bays" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_optical_bays_close_up.jpg" alt="" width="689" height="615" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <strong>Extras:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> In the accessories box you will find, case feet, cable ties, security bracket and plenty of assorted screws and standoffs to install a complete system.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter" title="extras box" src="http://i555.photobucket.com/albums/jj461/tobyak/Bitfenix%20Raider%20review%20photos/bitfenix_raider_accessories.jpg" alt="" width="592" height="259" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong> Pros and Cons:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong> Pros:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Soft touch coating on exterior plastics.<br />
Good build and material quality.<br />
Removable HDD cage.<br />
Tool-less Optical drive bays.<br />
Tool-less HDD trays.<br />
Integrated Fan controller.<br />
4X USB3 ports.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Cons:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Limited fan options.<br />
Case feet are included but not pre-installed so there is some self-assembly being required here.<br />
Top bezel must be removed to remove the front bezel.<br />
Very limited potential for internal watercooling.</p>
<pre style="text-align: center;"></pre>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Conclusion:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">For the price this is a pretty good case. The build quality is really good and the features are a nice surprise in a tower of this size. The SofTouch coating Bitfenix applies to some cases may not be to everybody’s tastes but It certainly adds a nice tactile dimension.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Water-cooling support is almost zero. You may get an all in one WC unit inside but that would be it. BUT this case is optimized for air-cooling and this it does pretty well. With the addition of an optional 200mm fan in roof, the air cooling potential would be more than enough to keep a fairly good gaming rig in a safe temp zone.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Whilst it is disappointing that the feet do not come pre attached, they are supplied in the accessory box and are quite attractive and easy to install.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Cable management is quite adequate for a case of this size with plenty (3/4inch) of space behind the motherboard tray and a good size hole for ease of swapping out any retention plates.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The Bitfenix Raider is certainly worth buying for those who don’t have the space to house a big tower and who want value for money along with plenty of features.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">SPONSORED AD</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Add <strong><a href="http://www.mnpctech.com/Case_Handles_Spring_Loaded.html">PC Carry Handles</a></strong> to your case for easy mobility. Great for LAN Events or Parties!</p>

It has become very popular among PC build and mod enthusiasts.  It features a small, all aluminum design that provides excellent cooling with two 120mm fans and enough room to support two 5.25 devices, a 3.5 device and 3 hard disk drives. With the built in rubber rings, the hard disk drive noise is kept to a minimum. Of course Mike is never satisfied with factory stock options, so lets what he did to his A05-N.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span id="more-4821"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/Lian_Li_A05_N_case_mod_gigabyte_xigmatek_gaming_pc_2.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Mike fabricated covers for the internal bays and what he describes as a &#8220;Cable Mask&#8221; that  goes from bottom optical bay to the floor. It&#8217;s located on other side of the PSU in the above picture. He added cable management fasteners to this cover to keep the cabling as clean as possible. The HIS HD 6870 1gb shroud was custom painted too!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/Lian_Li_A05_N_case_mod_gigabyte_xigmatek_gaming_pc_8.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The vents in the <a href="http://www.mnpctech.com/140mm_fan_grills.html">140mm machined aluminum fan grills</a> rotate manually. Some of the other most noticeable features on the &#8220;Citrus&#8221; include MDPC x Orange and White Sleeved Cables,  Custom cut side window, with painted <a href="http://www.mnpctech.com/M4_radiator_grill_screws.html">socket head fasteners</a> and Xigmatek fans that were also painted White.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/Lian_Li_A05_N_case_mod_gigabyte_xigmatek_gaming_pc_9c.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">There 140mm Xigmatek fans sandwich the <a href="http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=start">Noctua</a> NH D-14 cooler in Push / Pull configuration, from rear to front of Lian Li&#8217;s A05N. Mike was a litte concerned about the Blue Gigabyte GA890XA-UD3 motherboard clashing with his color theme, but it&#8217;s hardly noticeable. He may opt for Gigabyte&#8217;s OC Orange motherboard in the future. Overhead lighting is produced by White RGB light strip.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/Lian_Li_A05_N_case_mod_gigabyte_xigmatek_gaming_pc_3.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Noctua D-14 CPU cooler is a big improvement on their previous D-12. It&#8217;s much larger and heavier. It weighs in at a 2.7 pounds.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/Lian_Li_A05_N_case_mod_gigabyte_xigmatek_gaming_pc_9d.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Mike customized the Corsair HX 650W and White LEDs in the cooling fan, <a href="http://www.mnpctech.com/Computer_Billet_Fan_Grills.html">billet fan grill</a> and fresh paint and custom sleeved the cables with MDPC-X sleeving order that included UV Orange connectors, 100 ft White Small MDPCx, 50 ft Orange Small MDPCx, and 75 precut White heatshrink.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.mnpctech.3dpixelnet.com/picture_library/Lian_Li_A05_N_case_mod_gigabyte_xigmatek_gaming_pc_9i.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Mike didn&#8217;t leave anything untouched. Check out the sleeved WiFi! The casual observer may think the fan is mounted backwards in the rear of the Lian Li A05N.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">A set of <a href="http://www.mnpctech.com/CaseFeetMachined.html">Mnpctech Machined Aluminum Case Feet</a> with Powder coated with &#8220;Chevy Orange&#8221; finish elevates Citrus while protecting Mike&#8217;s work surface.</p>
