Yes! A mod with an air cooler. I don’t know why more people aren’t doing this. I know I am.

Most of the “mods” I’ve seen lately consist of some noob cramming a water cooling loop inside his coolermaster case with a CCFL and calling it a mod.

Regarding this mod, do you worry much about licensing issues, and more to the point should I worry? Ever hear of anyone having a problem over licensing with a mod?

I have a Steeler mod underway and I have concerns about what Logos etc. I should avoid using.

Thanks for having a presence at CES, Bill. As I’m sure you’re aware, the desktop is a dying breed as mobility is king. The only way to keep it alive is through our craft and by building machines that are supremely more capable than anything with a battery.

Thank you! Must say I was amazed at how many People at CES had just discovered Desktop PC building & Modding. It appears to be alive and well throughout the world from my viewpoint. As for licensing, the build was a “tribute” and not being mass produced for retail. If I made several and listed them for sale, then a judge may issue a cease-and-desist order with the intent to halt an illegal activity.

Yeah, my mods aren’t for profit but but I am def interested in winning contests and I believe this one will be mag worthy. I am planning on contacting the Steelers head office.
