Last time we shared Mnpctech’s BF3 progress, they had stripped down the Arc Midi Mid tower for PC Case Handles, added bullet holes and airbrushed mural,

The system hardware has finally arrived, and they’re armed with our rattle cans again! This video shares a glimpse into the techniques for spray painting the camouflage patterns on the exterior of Fractal-Design Arc Midi. Video was produced by Josh Smith at Fractal-Design NA.

The entire interior of the Arc Midi, including all of the shrouds and covers were also painted camouflage, including all of the 140mm Honeycomb Fan Grills for the exhaust and floor intake.

Supplies in order of Use.
1. Red Scotch brite Pad to scuff the surface of the grills
2. Tack Cloth to clean
3. Primer (any color is fine)
4. Apply Rustoleum “Specialty Series” Camouflage Paints
5. Apply Matte Clear

RUSTOLEUM Brand “Specialty Camouflage” Paints at Home Depot

After scuffing surface of Modders Mesh Grill with Scotchbrite pad, then apply Primer. Any color primer is fine. The patterns for the colors are entirely up to you. You can check out this Google Search result for Camouflage Patterns for inspiration.

3rd Paint Application: Rust-Oleum 1920830 Camouflage Spray, Army Green

The finished Honeycomb Grill installed on the Arc Midi bottom intake fan.

The top exhaust fan is covered by this camouflaged “Sniper” fan grill

The ASUS Sabertooth P67 “TUF” shield was painted camouflage. The 50mm fan hole for the chipset was modified to 60mm.

EVGA 560ti video card shroud was also painted camouflage.
