Dutch Modder, kier made his debut on the blog with his amazing, HAF XL Case Mod. His latest creation was built for his 4 year old son, because you’re never too young to discover the joy of Modding. His son is a huge fan of the “CARS” movie by PIXAR, so this theme was an obvious choice.
kier’s first idea was to implement a PC into a cabinet or desk with a CARS theme, until his wife suggested using a “Lightening McQueen” combination TV/DVD player by Starlite Consumer Electronics.
kier removed all the old TV components to create enough space inside for installing a system ideal for running children’s games.
The Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler fits the CARS theme appropriately.
Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 with custom “CARS” theme stickers.
kier chose the MSI P4M890M Micro MATX Motherboard.
The DVD drive door makes a perfect mouth!
The internal lighting can be switched between UV, Blue, Red, Green.
One 120mm Red LED cooling fan resides in each of the wheels to create the look of motion. The exhaust pipes are also illuminated.

That looks an awful lot like the Lightning McQueen television that you can buy in most retail outlets. I was just wondering if it is because I would like to copycat some of the design for my kids computer.
